Sphaerodactylidae

The Sphaerodactylidae are a family of the gecko-likes (Gekkota), which includes at present just over 200 species. They occur in most parts of South America, Central America, the Caribbean Islands, in North Africa, southern Europe and western Asia. The world's smallest lizard Sphaerodactylus ariasae with about 30 mm total length belongs to this group.

Only a few species have made in the terrarium, including, for example, the genus of wonder geckoes (Teratoscincus). Parallel to the propagation of the 'nanoterraristic' the genus of Gonatodes also came into focus.

Sphaerodactylidae – Kugelfingergeckos
